 Our Activities
The organization anticipates a wide range of activities to fulfill its mission. The following are just a few of the planned activities.
Operation of educational institutions
InshaAllah, there will be a series of learning institutions which will be operated by Fatiha Education Society based on a not-for-profit model.
Textbook Reviews and Publication
This activity involves reviewing and adapting the current text book to re-focus the text towards reinforcement of relationship of all knowledge to Allah. This will be undertaken gradually and with one book at a time.
Resource Material Production
In addition to books, Fatiha will undertake projects to publish quality activity books and stories. The purpose will be to provide both an educational and entertaining means for children to learn about Islamic values and secular knowledge.
Surveys and Research
From time to time, we will conduct different surveys focused on enhancing our understanding on enhancing our understanding of the current educational needs of students, as well as the needs of the community. This may include topics like need for Islamic education to scientific benefits of eating Halal. These surveys will help us in setting our direction and adjust our educational strategies based on this information.
Fundraising Activities
These activities will be in form of information sessions with prominent scholars or in form of selling products at different events. The objective of this kind of activity will be to generate funds for projects.
